What is Aspect Ratio?

An aspect ratio describes the relationship between the width and height of an image.

It determines the final shape of your artwork.

Simple answer: If the ratio changes, some parts of the image may be cropped.

How Aspect Ratios Work

A ratio compares width to height.

Different print products use different ratios.

AUTO

AUTO keeps the original proportions of the uploaded file.

No additional cropping is applied.

If you want to return to the original image shape, select AUTO.

2:3 Ratio

One of the most popular poster formats.

Common examples:

1:1 Ratio

Creates a square output.

Common uses:

A-Series

A-Series follows the international ISO paper standard.

This is often the preferred choice when preparing documents, posters and printed materials.
